Purple Textured Pitcher

Description

This hand built pitcher was made from a slab of clay, and then finished on the wheel. It has a textured surface which has been highlighted with a wash of purple glaze. The rim has a soft purple glaze. The inside is glazed white. The spout of the pitcher was made by carving into the pitcher which aids in its ability to pour, helping to trap ice or lemons from falling into the glass. The pitcher is about 5.5 inches tall, and the cylinder about 4 inches wide It holds a little more than a pint.
