Grandmother’s Flowers

Description

I love making flowers with glass, and have been trying to find a way to add glass flowers to my pottery. This is my  latest version. The lid has stylized leaves with a bulb type knob that holds hand made glass lampwork flowers. Each flower is about an inch wide on  wire stem of about 3.5 inches. It also has glass leaves interspersed among the flowers. The jar is glazed a glossy green, with a white glossy interior. Most of the flowers are pink, there is one lavender colored flower. There are 6 flowers and 8 leaves. This functional stoneware covered jar is about 4 inches tall and has a lid that adds another  3.5 inches. With the flowers, the overall height is about 9 inches. This fully functional jar will be available for purchase at my Old School Clay and Ceramic studio at Prescott.
